Now it was time for new "pencil illustrations" for Nordens Ark again! I can't really understand that I get to sit and draw animals for them every year. I'm so very happy and grateful for that! This year, the spotlight fell on the Scottish wildcat, Vietnamese pond turtle, peacock tarantella and marsh snapper. These motifs are then printed on mugs, postcards, posters and other lovely products and are available for purchase in their own store in the park. All surplus from the sale goes to their hard work saving endangered animals. Nice huh? :)

Working from home, drawing a little furry peacock tarantella.
I won't lie, I found it a little uncomfortable to zoom in and study the details of a spider like that.

... And this is what it looks like in the store! Imagine that I get to have "my very own" little corner in the shop?!These pictures have been sent to me by Nordens Ark. In November, I'm going there myself on a small study visit, so I will upload more pictures then! :)
Last year's illustration of the pallas cat has now also been printed on chocolate bars! How nice? I love the paw prints!
The little Nordic bee that I illustrated a few years ago now also adorns their own handmade soap that can be bought in the store. It's so cool to see your own little lines on their new, beautiful products! Can't wait to see them live in November! :)
